A disgrace to Australia, as our Foreign Affairs Minister, all he wants to do is bow down to all the Asian countries, try ever so patiently not to offend and lacks the courage to stand and put our views across to a recalcitrant Northern Neighbour ! We need our Asian neighbours somewhat but in their cultures they do not respect suckups. They respect people who are tough, like Keating who had the guts to stand up to Mahatir.
False. I still remember years ago when Downer attended a conference on violence against women. It was full of women who were there to campaign against violence. He made the offensive joke ';Violence against women...the things that batter';.





So, no, he should not be thrown off a cliff. I think he should have to live with someone who is violent towards him and then have to hear jokes about it.
