Just wondering about your own personal expieriences with false labor, i am 36 weeks and 5 days, and was in the hospital because i was having contractions 6 min apart, for over an hour. I was sent home, i am only dilated to a 3, and she told me to wait until the contractions get stronger...How soon does real labor start after false labor?
Since you are already progressed, you should experience true labor pains. I would wait until you feel them in the front and the back, and intense tightening then go to the hospital. However you have 4 weeks to go, I would not rush it if you can.How soon does real labor start after false labor?
You never know. If it is false labor it will go away. My doctor always told me to drink LOTS of water and empty by bladder and if it does not go away then you are in real labor not false, no matter how strong the contractions are.
Everybody is different. I was 36 weeks like you with my last one, they sent me home too. , I ended up scheduling the birth at 41 weeks 'cause labor hadn't started by week 40, so I was induced.
it could take day or hours you never know, you could have them induce labor.
