I am having the same problem. I don't have the answer,but I will be looking at answers later to see if anyone knows.

Why does yahoo keep giving me false counts of my emails? For example: if I have 1 email, yahoo says I have 2. It seems to be doubling the actual count. And, I want to know why.Why does yahoo keep giving me false counts of my emails?
